Dr. Ejaz Ahmad

Dr. Ejaz Ahmad has been associated with WWF Pakistan since May 1995 and is now working as a Senior Director.

Dr. Ahmad holds a PhD degree in Wildlife Biology from Colorado State University, USA and an M Phil in Plant Physiology from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. He is a member of several international organisations and councils, working on environment.

Ali Hasnain Sayed

Ali Hasnain Sayed has been associated with WWF for over 6 years. He is working as Senior Manager Freshwater having over twelve years of work experience, attained in Pakistan and abroad through extensive fieldwork related to environment, energy and sustainable development. He regularly interacts on policy issues with provincial as well as national governments, bureaucracy, civil society, corporate sector and regulatory regimes.

His present work at WWF - Pakistan relates to water food energy nexus. He coordinates WWFs network policies and implementation strategies under its Global Programme Framework (GPF) as the focal person for WWF - Pakistan on water security and stewardship issues. He is also responsible for supporting and designing policies relating to water security, integrated river basin management, food and energy security. He works with business and industry to lower their water footprints by responsible and sustainable use of water resources.

He has a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from UET Lahore, a Master in Business Administration from Punjab University and a Master in Environment and Sustainability from Monash University, Australia. Ali has been a lecturer at various universities.

Sohail Ali Naqvi

Sohail Ali Naqvi is working with WWF - Pakistan as Senior Project Officer, SWITCH-Asia Water Stewardship Project (WSP). He is also Coordinator River Ravi Commission.

Sohail Naqvi has an MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Hanyang University, Seoul and an M.Sc Agricultural Engineering. He has been working in water and environment sector for almost six years.

As Senior Project Officer, Sohails responsibilities will include conducting and coordinating project activities at respective sites. He will be working closely with the Programme Management team, and will liaise with the partners. He will also ensure that the institutional cooperation framework is implemented and will assist in timely completion of all outputs, technical and financial progress reports, and training activities.

Saba Dar

Saba Dar is working as a Research Associate for Water Stewardship Project.
She has an M Phil in Environmental Sciences from Government College University. Her paper on Indicator Based Planning of a Housing Scheme in Kahna Station, Lahore has been accepted for publication in an international journal.
As a Research Associate, she uses her analytical skills to research the innovative cleaner production techniques for best water management practices.

Ruth Naymat Gill

Ruth Naymat Gill is Community Mobilizer, Water Security and Stewardship Programme, WWF-Pakistan.
Ruth was previously working as Research Officer, Green Office. She worked on a project which monitored door to door collection system of Waste Busters Company for the recovery of used beverages cartons. She has a BS (Hons) Environmental Sciences from Forman Christian College, Lahore.
Currently, Ruth is working on a project with Water Stewardship team that aims to provide clean drinking water to communities in low-lying areas of Lahore. She is using her social skills to communicate with the community of the site area and raise awareness among masses about the project and water issues of Lahore and Pakistan.

Sohaib Waseem

Sohaib Waseem Anwar joined WWF-Pakistan as Project Officer, Water Stewardship. Sohaib holds a Masters in Corporate Environmental Management from University of Surrey, UK and another Masters in Environment and Business Management from SUNY-ESF/Syracuse University, USA. He also has a BSC degree in Environmental Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
Sohaib's areas of interest includes corporate sustainability, resource economics, water and energy risk management, alongside sustainability policy development and implementation.
He is currently implementing Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) standards for WWF-Pakistan to promote sustainable consumption of water within industrial sector of Pakistan.
