The Farrukh Irfan Khan Award was established in 2010 with the objective to strengthen the conservation efforts at grass-root level. It provides unique opportunity for the researchers to carry out scientific research in the field of nature conservation in Pakistan.

Priority will be given to the projects that will help in conserving some priority ecological area in Pakistan.

Eligibility Criteria

Individuals working at grassroots level from all over Pakistan are eligible to apply.


The grant amount for the Farrukh Irfan Khan Award is PKR 200,000 per year.
