SPELLATHON

The "Spellathon" is WWF-Pakistan’s flagship environmental education campaign, running successfully for over 27 years. This unique initiative combines a spelling competition with environmental awareness, teaching students vocabulary and concepts related to conservation, wildlife, and sustainability. By integrating learning with environmental education, the Spellathon inspires young minds to engage with critical ecological issues.

Participants take on spelling challenges featuring words aligned with WWF’s goals and environmental themes. This approach not only sharpens their spelling skills but also deepens their knowledge of critical ecological issues and the importance of protecting the planet. The campaign provides age-appropriate resources on environmental topics, blending education with engagement. By learning about the environment through spelling competitions, students gain a richer understanding of conservation challenges, inspiring them to take action and explore innovative ways to preserve the planet.
