Green School Programme
HOW WWF-PAKISTAN’S GSP IS EDUCATING YOUNG CUSTODIANS OF OUR PLANET?
The Green School Programme is a year-long programme that gives students regular insight into eco-dynamics and the overall environmental challenges faced at the global and regional levels. The programme inculcates and fosters a sense of civic responsibility amongst students for reducing their ecological footprint. It engages students and teachers in a structured environmental awareness curriculum that is specifically tailored to each school’s academic calendar. The programme awards registered schools WWF-Pakistan’s accreditation of a ‘Green School’ after fulfilling specific criteria.
The Green School Programme has been bringing a positive change in the minds of the youth by educating them to be more environmentally conscious. Through this, we hope to educate a generation who can make responsible decisions for our planet.
The GSP is applicable to all school systems under the English medium curriculum. Activities are designed for students of primary, secondary and higher secondary level.
