The policy was drafted by WWF-Pakistan for Sindh EPA under the project titled "International Labour Environmental Standards Application in Pakistan's SMEs (ILES)". The draft Cleaner Production (CP) Policy was designed after the consultation from industries, associations, chambers and relevant government departments of Sindh. Different consultative sessions were organized in the industrial cities of Sindh such as Karachi, Jamshoro, Sukkur and Hyderabad to gather the comments from the relevant stakeholders.
