Advisory Group
An Advisory Group of nine eminent professionals/academicians has been formed to guide work in ethnobotany which has evolved into a National Ethnobotanical Society. The group will advise the project team on technical matters including content of ethnobotanical courses and the activities of resource centres.

Grants Programme
The project plans to award grants (both long and short-term) on the control of invasive weedy species, finding solutions through the use of indigenous knowledge, exploration of medicinal plants through community participation, ethnobotanical studies of plant resources and their socio-economic impact on local communities and feasibility of community involvement in the sustainable use of medicinal plants.
