WWF-Pakistan is one of the leading conservation organizations in Pakistan. We have been working with communities to conserve critical ecosystems of Pakistan since 1970. We are a research based organization which means that our work is backed up by scientific facts. Based on these facts and the partnerships we have built over the years, our work ensures that there is a future where both humans and nature thrive.
How Does Our Work Matter?
In more than 40 years of on ground initiatives in Pakistan, WWF has a number of conservation successes to its name. Our projects have been critical to the survival of species unique to Pakistan such as the Indus river dolphin and have contributed to providing solutions to global issues. We are also implementing projects in Ayubia National Park to improve watershed management, conserving critically endangered vultures who as scavengers clean the environment, helping communities in coastal areas adapt better to the impacts climate change, etc.
