A state-of-the-art camera trap set up by WWF – Pakistan in the Chotiari Reservoir has captured photographs of a family of otters in the wild. It's a real pleasure to see these and know that there are still some of these beautiful animals still living around the reservoir. The entire organization has praised Saeed ul Islam, the Programme's NRMO, whose knowledge of these animals and fantastic dedication made these pictures possible. Saeed has been supported in this endeavor by the local community and Makhi Development Organization.
WWF – Pakistan is hoping to capture more pictures of these animals to help increase our knowledge of this species’ behavior in Pakistan, and catch other animals in the area in action as well!
